The Grand Haven girls’ basketball squad cruised to a 55-32 win over Reeths-Puffer in non-conference action on Friday night.

Mallory Woiteshek paced the Bucs with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Gillian Sorrelle added 12 and Maddie Schopf scored 10. Abbey Klumpel pulled down eight rebounds.

The Bucs led 10-3 at the end of the first quarter, 23-7 at halftime, and 41-23 through three quarters of play. Grand Haven improves to 2-0, while Reeths-Puffer falls to 0-1.

Reeths-PUffer was led by Brooklynn Tornes with 19 points, three assists and five rebounds. Irelyn Niklasch scored eight points and had five rebounds while Ashlyn David pulled down eight rebounds.
