GRAND HAVEN – The Grand Haven girls basketball team overwhelmed the Wildcats of Montague, 70-7, on Tuesday.

Gillian Sorrelle led all scorers with 17 points and four assists. Emersen Berndt had 13 points and four rebounds, while Mallory Woiteshek contributed 10 points and five steals. Abbey Klumpel scored 10 points and Abby Spoonas made four blocks. 

The Wildcats’ Adilynn Peterson had three points. Avah Vandermeulen and Amanda Cederquist chipped in two points apiece.

Grand Haven (6-0) is set to visit Spring Lake on Friday.

Montague (1-4, 1-2) will be at Fruitport on Thursday.
