North Muskegon boys outlast Western Michigan Christian in non-league basketball game

NORTON SHORES – The North Muskegon boys’ basketball team remains unbeaten after defeating Western Michigan Christian 51-44 on Tuesday in a non-league contest.

The Norse led 13-10 after the opening quarter, 29-18 at halftime and 36-32 through three quarters.  The game was tied at 36-all with seven minutes remaining.

Adam Dugener paced North Muskegon with 21 points, while Lamarkis Graham added 17 points and pulled down six rebounds.

The Norse also had strong performances from TJ Byard with eight points, five rebounds, three steals and three assists. James Young had four points, six rebounds and three assists.

WMC was led by Ben Moorhead with 12 points and Derrick Ashley with 10.

North Muskegon improves to 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference actions while the Warriors are 2-3 overall on the season.
