Isaiah Atchison’s 20-point performance propelled the Montague boys’ basketball team to a 56-51 West Michigan Conference win over Oakridge on Friday night.
Owen Raeth added 14 points for the Wildcats, while Kellen Francis scored seven and Paul Olson had six.
Montague held on to the lead despite getting outscored by 20-11 during the final quarter of play.
The Wildcats led 13-8 at the end of the first quarter, 28-19 at halftime and 45-31 through three quarters.
Montague is now 7-5 on the season, 2-4 in WMC Lakes Division play.
