MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Catholic Central girls’ basketball team used second-half scoring push to put away Fruitport Calvary Christian, 45-19, in Alliance League action on Friday. 

The Crusaders led 15-7 at halftime then went on a 31-12 second-half scoring run to seal the win.

Daeja Hill led the attack for the Crusaders with 16 points, while Claire Carlton and Lindsay Ladd chipped in eight points apiece. 

The Eagles’ Liberty LaBrenze put up 11 points. 

Muskegon Catholic Central (4-6, 1-1) will travel to Wyoming Potter’s House on Tuesday for conference play.

Calvary Christian (1-7, 1-2) will host Grand Rapids West Michigan Aviation Academy on Monday.
