Jaxson Whitaker exploded for 29 points while dishing out seven assists to lead the Reeths-Puffer boys’ basketball team to an easy 73-35 win over Wyoming on Friday night in O-K Green play.

The Rockets jumped out to a 24-8 advantage after the opening quarter, led 44-13 at halftime and had a 65-19 advantage going into the final quarter.

Travis Ambrose added 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for Reeths-Puffer, while Marvin Moore chipped in with seven points and three assists.

Brayden Mitchelson pulled down 11 rebounds while scoring five points for the Rockets and Antrel Jones contributed four assists.

Reeths-Puffer is off to a 10-1 overall start, 4-0 in league play.
