Grant divides up the scoring among its nine players in victory over Kent City

All nine players scored for the Grant boys’ basketball team in a 62-42 victory over Kent City on Friday night in CSAA action.

Lucas Swanson paced the Tigers with 10 points while Zaiden Phillips and Ethan DeLong each added eight. Oakley Obenauf and Aiden Booth each chipped in seven points.

Grant led 17-9 at the end of the opening quarter, 33-19 at halftime and 50-30 through three quarters of play.

The Tigers are now 13-5 on the season and 8-2 in the conference.
