MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Community College men’s basketball team fell behind early, battled back to take the lead, then fell to Mid-Michigan College 95-89.

The game was played at Bartels-Rode Gymnasium.

MCC (7-11, 3-2) trailed by double digits in the opening half and went into the half trailing 46-36. There were five ties and three lead changes as MCC battled back to within contention.

In the end, Mid-Michigan prevailed and raised its record to 13-6 overall, 5-1 in the conference.

Jadakiss Lewis hit for 21 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Darius Williams added 14 points and three steals and Ben Clark had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists.

The Jayhawks play back-to-back roads game Friday and Saturday
