GRAYLING – The Muskegon Community College Jayhawk men’s basketball team turned a narrow halftime lead into a rout on Saturday against Kirtland Community College.
 
The Jayhawks led 25-22 at the half, but used a 49-point offensive barrage in the second half to claim a 75-45 victory.
 
MCC struggled in the opening half, but some halftime adjustments paid dividends and led to the victory.
 
Jadakiss Lewis led MCC (8-12, 4-3) with 24 points. Jacob Mueller added 11 points and six rebounds.
 
Kirtland fell to 0-11, 0-6.
 
MCC, which ended its two-game losing streak, travels to Delta College on Wednesday.
