MUSKEGON – The Muskegon girls’ basketball team pulled away on Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in O-K Green play as they defeated Mona Shores 57-32 in league competition.

The Big Reds trailed 12-11 after the first quarter before going on a 13-7 second quarter run to take a 24-19 halftime lead.

Muskegon increased its advantage to 42-25 heading into the fourth quarter before closing out the game on a 15-7 run.

The Sailors were led by Tia Norman with 13 points, while Khaleeya Cook added seven and both Logan Clausen and Katie Phillips scored four.

Muskegon is now 11-4 on the season, 9-0 in league play while the Sailors fall to 8-8 overall, 4-5 in conference action.
