CUSTER — Pentwater’s girls basketball team managed to survive a sloppy and disorganized game at Mason County Eastern Thursday night and snapped a two-game losing streak with a 27-16 win in the West Michigan D League.

Mandi Sayles led the Falcons with seven points.

Braylin Johnson scored seven points to lead the Cardinals.

Pentwater moves to 11-6 overall and 9-6 in the league. The Falcons travel to Mesick for another league game Friday night.

Eastern fell to 6-14 overall, 6-10 in the league. The Cardinals host Manistee Catholic Central in another league game Friday night.
