GRAND RAPIDS – The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team had a rough time scoring points against North Farmington in a 47-28 loss at the Wilson Chandler Invite on Saturday. 

“It was a tough day for us on a back-to-back against a great team,” said Reeths-Puffer coach Nathan Aardema. “We struggled against their trapping defense.”

The Rockets were outscored 42-22 over the first three quarters.

Travis Ambrose scored nine points, pulled down 11 rebounds and made seven blocks. Jaxson Whitaker added seven points and three assists. 

Reeths-Puffer (17-3, 11-1) will travel to Zeeland East on Wednesday for OK-Green play.
