HOWARD CITY – The White Cloud girls basketball team fell to Tri-County, 37-27, to close out the regular season on Thursday night.

The Indians fell into a 19-point hole and couldn’t come back. The Indians were cold at the line (8-for-26).

“If we played the first half like we did in the second half we probably would have won this one,” said White Cloud coach Caleb Wilk. “However, our kids definitely showed some heart in the second half.”

Annie Feldpausch led White Cloud with 13 points and Jaden Gomez scored seven points.

White Cloud (8-14, 3-9) will travel to Shelby on Monday to open Division 3 district play.
