Here are the track results for the GVSU Laker Challenge for girls in the big school division

Here are the area athletes who placed in the top five in their respective events on Thursday in the Grand Valley State University Laker Challenge.

The meet was run at the Kelly Family Sports Center on the GVSU campus. Area teams competing included Grand Haven, Fremont, Fruitport, Reeths-Puffer, Whitehall and Spring Lake.

Grand Haven was the only area team to have top 5 finishes in any of the events. Team scores were not available.

200 meter: 5, Natalie Schneider, GH, 26.73

400 meter: 4, Eden Smith, GH, 1:00.54

1600: 4, Valerie Beeck, GH, 5:09.75

4 x 300 relay: 2, Grand Haven (Nadia Prieditis, Finley Sutton, Valerie Beeck, Mariona Balsera Martinez), 2:56.72
