HESPERIA – The North Muskegon baseball team earned a strong doubleheader sweep against Hesperia on Tuesday.

The Norse blanked the Panthers, 15-0, in the opening game and took the nightcap, 16-1.

North Muskegon’s Ace Anderson struck out six batters and gave up just one hit and one walk in three innings.

Ben Meyers tallied four runs, four RBI and a double, while Ryan Delora had three runs, three RBI and three doubles. Carter Mieler scored two runs, had an RBI and a double.

In the second game, Jaxon Bean finished with six strikeouts and gave up just two hits, one run and a walk in three innings.

Delora scored three runs, had two RBI and two doubles at bat. Meyers and Mieler each had three runs and an RBI. Bronson Hurst scored one run and knocked in three runs.

North Muskegon (3-0) will travel to Montague on Wednesday for another doubleheader.

Hesperia will face Muskegon Catholic Central for a doubleheader at Marsh Field on Friday.
