Orchard View shuts out Grant in girls soccer win

MUSKEGON – The Orchard View girls soccer team blanked Grant, 3-0, on Friday evening.

The Cardinals led 1-0 at halftime and tacked on two more in the shutout over Grant.

Edeline Fernandez led the Cardinals with a goal and an assist. Cassidy Noordhoek and Nazalia Mendiola each scored goals while Delaney Andrews had an assist.

Goalkeeper Emily Santos posted the shutout in the net for the Cardinals.

Orchard View (3-6, 1-5) will be at Shelby on Monday for a West Michigan Conference game.

Grant (3-4-1, 2-1-1) is set to host Big Rapids for CSAA action on Wednesday.
