The Reeths-Puffer softball squad remained unbeaten after sweeping Northview in a doubleheader on Thursday. The Rockets won the first game 3-1, then blanked Northview 9-0 in the nightcap.

Lainey McDaniel tossed the victory in Game 1 by allowing one hit and strike out nine in seven innings.

The Rockets had eight hits as a team, led by McDaniel and Kaylee Jones with two hits each. Abbie Critchett knocked in three runs while Kaylee Jones swiped three bases.

In the second game, Mady Snyder tossed a complete-game shutout. She allowed six hits and struck out five.

McDaniel had two doubles and four RBI while Jones had a single and a triple.

Reeths-Puffer had six hits in Game 2.

The Rockets are now 9-0-1 on the season.
