The Whitehall Vikings claimed a pair of baseball victories over the Hart Pirates on Tuesday afternoon.

The Vikings won the opener, 12-2, and in a much tigher game, took the nightcap, 4-2.

In the opener, Isaac Van Amberg and Brock Morningstar combined on a five-inning two hitter with nine strikeouts.

Leading hitters were Ryne Christensen with four hits and three RBI. Morningstar added a pair of hits.

In the second game, Christensen (five innings) and Kyle Stratton (two innings) pitched for Whitehall. Carter Ramseyer turned in a solid performance on the mound for Hart. He allowed two earned runs and struck out eight in 5.2 innings of work.

Ryan Goodrich led Whitehall with a pair of hits and two RBI.

Mitchel Slade had two hits for Hart (3-3).
