Zack VanVleet caught three touchdown passes to lead Montague to a 42-18 over Hopkins on Friday night.
All of VanVleet’s scoring passes came from Jacob Buchberger and they were from 7, 16 and 54 yards.
Buchberger scored on a 80-yard kickoff return and he also scored on a 17-yard run for the Wildcats.
Buchberger also connected with Eddie Caviedes on a 4-yard TD pass for Montague.
Buchberger finished 10-of-15 passing for 157 yards and rushed seven times for 90 yards.
Cameron Brayman rushed 12 times for 132 yards for the Wildcats and VanVleet caught five passes for 41 yards.
Brayman led the Montague defense with 15 tackles.
