The Montague football team topped Mason County Central 55-0 on Friday night in a West Michigan Conference matchup.The Wildcats led 21-0 after the first quarter, 42-0 at the half, and outscored the Spartans 13-0 in the second half to seal the victory.

Quarterback Drew Collins led the way for the Wildcats by passing for 139 yards and three touchdowns.

Sebastian Archer paced Montague on the ground with three carries for 78 yards and a touchdown while Bryce Stark added five carries for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Kenyan Johnson tallied three catches for 91 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

Brennen Schwarz was the heartbeat of the defensefor the Wildcats with eight tackles while Jordan Aguilera added five.

The Wildcats improve to 2-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play while the Spartans fall to 0-3 on the year and 0-2 in conference play.
