The Muskegon Community College baseball team won both of its games in a doubleheader on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks defeated Glen Oaks CC 8-1 in the opener, then won by a 7-3 margin in the nightcap.

In Game 1 Branden Posky pitched the win for MCC, allowing one run on one hit in seven innings while striking out six batters.

The Jayhawks were paced offensively by Tyus Beach with four hits and two RBIs while Jake Soules had three RBIs.

In Game 2, Sean Casey was the winning pitcher for MCC, allowing three runs on four hits while striking out four in 3 2/3 innings.

Tommy McCullough led the Jayhawks with three hits, while Beach, Jon Henry and Jake Conklin each added two.

MCC is now 16-4 overall on the season and 4-0 in conference play.
