The Shelby girls soccer team opened up Division 3 district play on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory over Fremont.
In the first half, Molli Schultz scored first for the Tigers when she was assisted by Lindsey Harvell.
Isabel Omness found the back of the net for Shelby in the second half when she was assisted by Ashley Miller.
Shelby is now 5-14-1 overall and will play in the district semifinals against Whitehall on Wednesday at Whitehall.
