HESPERIA — The visiting North Muskegon Norsemen scored 55 points in the second half on Thursday night and routed Hesperia 94-38.

“In the second half, we caught fire from 3 and locked up better defensively and were able to run away from them,” said NM coach Chuck Rypstra. “They played hard, but we were really good tonight.”

North Muskegon led 18-13 after one quarter and 39-23 at the half.

The Norsemen were led by Troy McManus with 28 points, including six 3-pointers. Lamarkis Graham added 13 points, seven rebounds and three steals. TJ Byard also hit double figures with 11 points. Denny Belmonte dished out seven assists. Adam Dugener had nine points and five assists. Every NM player scored at least a point.
 
Maddox Mosley led Hesperia with 10 points. Matteo Materdomini added seven.
 
North Muskegon (13-3, 6-2) travels to Ravenna Friday night.
 
Hesperia (3-12, 1-6) will travel to Holton on Tuesday evening.
