MUSKEGON — The Oakridge Eagles made quick work of Ludington in girls softball action on Tuesday.  The Eagles swept the two games, 27-0 and 25-0. The games each lasted three innings.

In the opener, Brenna Cabrera had a day to remember at the plate with two home runs, one a grand slam, a three-run homer and a three-run double. She finished the game with 10 RBI. Andrea Romero added three hits, one a home run. She had four RBI.

Also for the Eagles, Madison Clark had three hits and two RBI and Gracie Clark had a double, a single and two RBI. Kaelinn Jozsa wa the winning pitcher. She gave up no hits and struck out six in three innings of work.

Ludington’s Sam Hanson started pitching in the first game and faced six hitters. She gave up three runs and three walks. Jody Meisenheimer threw the final two innings and allowed 12 hits, walked seven and struck out one.
 
In the nightcap, Kylee Willea pitched three innings and did not allow a hit. She struck out four.
 
Leading hitters included Ahria Doornbos with four hits, including two doubles, a triple and a single, Jozsa with three hits, including a home run, a triple and six RBI and Madison Clark with two doubles and a single. 
 
Hanson came back in the nightcap and went the first 2 1/3 innings, giving up 14 hits and four walks with one strikeout. Rylee Hardenburgh threw to six batters and gave up two runs and three walks. Meisenburgh pitched the final 2/3 of an inning and gave up one hit, walked one and struck out one.

Oakridge is now 3-0 overall, 2-0 in West Michigan Conference play.
