GRAND RAPIDS — The Oakridge Eagles’ offense just keeps scoring runs and it happened again on Thursday in a pair of routs of Kenowa Hills in non-league softball action.

The Eagles won the opener, 15-1, and the nightcap, 19-0.

In the opener, Kaelinn Jozsa allowed six hits and struck out five in five innings of work.

On offense, the Eagles added two more home runs to their school record. Andrea Romero had a home run, two singles and drove in six runs. Jozsa added a home run and two RBI. Ahria Doornbos had a double, two singles and three RBI. Madison Clark chipped in with three singles.

The Eagles put away the game in the fourth inning by scoring seven runs.

In the nightcap, much of the damage was done by the Clark sisters. Madison Clark belted a home run and added two singles for four RBI. Gracie Clark had a double, two singles and four RBI.

Gracie Willea had two singles. Kylee Willea pitched a solid game in her return to the lineup from injury.

The Eagles scored 10 runs in the first inning on the strength of 11 hits in the inning.

Oakridge is 27-9 overall, 12-0 in the West Michigan Conference.
