The Mona Shores girls’ golf team finished second on Friday in the 10-team Fruitport Invitational.
The event was played at Oak Ridge Golf Course.
Mona Shores finished second to Coopersville.
The Sailors finished at 371. Leading the way for Mona Shores was Mayson Southland with an 85, which was good for third place overall. Maddie Etterman finished sixth with a 94 and Lainee Carmean shot a 95 and finished seventh.
Other Sailors were Summer Darrow shot a 97 and Raelyn Tyler shot a 100. The team total for the Sailors was 371.
The Sailors head to The Meadows in Allendale on Tuesday and to Yankee Springs Golf Course on Friday.
