NEWAYGO – The Grant girls basketball team breezed by Newaygo in CSAA Conference play on Tuesday evening.
The Tigers went up 22-9 at halftime and sailed to a 40-19 victory.
Maria Riddering led the Lions with nine points, five rebounds and five steals.
Grant (4-0, 3-0) will be at Spring Lake on Wednesday.
Newaygo (2-3, 1-2) will compete in the West Michigan Hoop Summit at Aquinas College on Saturday. The Lions will face Grand Rapids Union.
