The Hesperia boys’ basketball team used relentless defensive pressure to defeat Holton 51-39 on Tuesday night.

The Panthers led 13-4 at the end of the opening quarter, 31-13 at halftime and 45-23 heading into the final stanza.

Nicholas Guarnieri led Hesperia with 13 points and six steals while Bryce Billings added 12 points and six steals. Ethan O’Neil pulled down 13 rebounds.

The Red Devils were led by Carter Brant with 16 points while Keon McMillans scored 14.
