MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Community College men’s basketball team dropped its third straight game on Saturday, a 58-55, setback to Southwestern Michigan Community College.

The game was played at Bartels-Rode Gymnasium.

Muskegon played solid defense throughout the game, but had some shooting woes of its own.

The Jayhawks trailed 29-23 at the half and outscored the visitors 32-29 in the second half.

MCC (2-4) was led by Jadakiss Lewis with 22 points. Ben Clark added eight points, eight rebounds and four assists. Will Chye had seven points, four rebounds and two assists.

The Jayhawks travel to play the Calvin University jayvee team on Tuesday.
