GRAND HAVEN – The Spring Lake boys basketball team went 2-0 at the Lake Michigan Cup at Grand Haven.

On Friday, the Lakers bounced back from a cold second quarter to rally and take down Petoskey, 46-45.

The Lakers were down 25-18 at the halftime break, but went on a 28-20 run in second half to edge out Petoskey.

Zach Schlepp led the attack with 11 points and Colin Burt scored 10 points. Eli Morrison put up nine points, while Karson George and Ayden Ayers added seven and five points, respectively.

Schlepp and Morrison were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Spring Lake (4-3, 0-1) will host cross-town rival Fruitport for an OK Conference-Blue contest on Friday, Jan. 5.
