Orchard View boys, Fremont girls capture bowling victories

MUSKEGON – Orchard View and Fremont’s bowling squads battled to a split at Northway Lanes on Monday.

The Orchard View girls dropped a close 18.5-11.5 decision loss to the Packers, while the OV boys finished on top, 19-11.

The Cardinal girls’ team was led by Emily Santos with games of 170 and 129. Ellie Jennings tossed 113 and 174. River Creed led the boys with games of 166 and 188, while Ashton Tjapkes had games of 178 and 169.

The Packers were led by Aston Yuhasz with a 156 and 246. Owen Hertel chipped in games of 166 and 196. Annika Yuhasz rolled a 163 and 140, while Andrea Anderson had 150 and 172.

Orchard View will be at Northway Lanes on Wednesday against Montague.

Fremont will host Oakridge at Fremont Lanes on Wednesday.
