KENT CITY – Aaron Vanderwest led the Kent City boys basketball team to a 46-36 win over Montabella on Saturday with a double-double performance.

Vanderwest scored 15 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and made two assists. Tanner Carlos chipped in 17 points, three assists and three rebounds, while Kayden Kamanu added six rebounds, four points and two blocks. Justin Anderson had six points and three assists.

Kent City (4-7, 2-2) will be at Big Rapids on Tuesday for a CSAA contest.
