HART – Whitehall came out on top at a tri meet in Hart on Wednesday, defeating both Hesperia and Hart in dominant fashion.

The Vikings started out their night with a 50-18 win over the Panthers. Scoring victories by pin were Gavin Craner, Trenton TenBrock, Blake Morningstar, Max Krukowski, Liam Leeke and Darnell Mack. Jason Smith and Ryne Christensen each won a match by decision while Blake English won by a 12-0 major decision. Nolan Taranko also came away with a win, taking his match by technical fall.

Two Panthers won matches against Whitehall as Stephen Priese and Lake Sayer each took a match by pin.

Whitehall also scored a large margin victory over Hart, 53-18. Cody Manzo scored his second win of the day after taking his first match by forfeit. Also going 2-0 were Krukowski, Taranko, Leeke, Mack, Goodrich, Craner, TenBrock and Morningstar.

Hart’s Joseluis Andaverde, Kole Thomas, Alex Hicks and Adrian Lara all won their matches against Whitehall opponents.

Hart and Hesperia also squared off, with the Pirates taking the 50-18 win. 

Chico Salgado, Haegan Hansen, Hicks, Ivan Lara, Jose Chavira, Kole Thomas, Emmanuel Ortega, Ty Thomas, Halen Boos and Andaverde all won matches against the Panthers.

Keith Nulf, Noah Walker, Priese and Skyler Stalbaum each won their matches with Hart.
