HESPERIA – Bryce Billings and Nicholas Guarnieri combined for 43 points and helped the Hesperia boys basketball team take down Holton 71-52 in WMC-Rivers play on Tuesday. 

Guarnieri scored a career-high 23 points, while Billings posted a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Panthers led 39-18 after the first two quarters and cruised in the second half.

Despite a constant double-team, the Red Devils’ Carter Brant went off for 31 points including five 3-pointers.

Hesperia (7-12, 4-5) will be at home against Shelby on Friday for conference action.

Holton (2-18, 0-10) hosts North Muskegon for a league contest on Tuesday.
