MUSKEGON – The Reeths-Puffer softball team routed Muskegon in an OK-Green doubleheader on Tuesday evening.
The Rockets took game one, 15-0, as well as the nightcap, 17-0.
In the opener, Kyleigh Bilek earned the win on the mound with five strikeouts, while giving up just three hits.
Mady Snyder had a single and a double, while Kaylee Jones chipped in two singles. Megan Barmes, Jersi Bilek and Natalie Kunnen had a double apiece. Abbie Critchett and Lainey McDaniel each had a single.
In game two, Kyleigh stuck out three batters, while Snyder came on in relief and struck out one.
Snyder and Jones each had a homer and a single. Barmes added three singles and McDaniel had two singles. Critchett hit for a triple and Kunnen had a double.
Reeths-Puffer (16-0-1) will be at Oakridge for a doubleheader on Thursday.
Muskegon is set to host North Muskegon on Monday.
