High school football continued to surprise area fans during Week 8 as several teams pulled out big wins and others were snake bitten in the final moments of action.

Muskegon Catholic walked away big winners on Friday night, pulling off a last second touchdown catch to top defending state champion Centerville. 

Grant on the other hand fell to Central Montcalm in the last minute of play after nearly completing a comeback. 

Fruitport got a needed shot in the arm off a giant 90-yard TD run by Paschal Jolman in its win over Allendale.
